A day on the water....

It has been a beautiful weekend here in TCI and the weather is settling nicely for the Easter break that is just around the corner. We have just had two "spring break" weeks with tourists from the US mainly enjoying our lovely part of the world, and Jan and I were delighted to have surprise visit from our son who is based in New York. This gave me an excuse to take the boat out and give it a run. Luckily, a chum of mine passed by with his camera and sent me this wonderful photo. The colour of the water here is quite stunning and this photo has not been touched up at all. We never cease to wonder at the colours we see on a daily basis. This is one of the wonders here in the Caribbean, where colours reflect our lovely climate and no wonder many want to get away from it all. We have more lifestyle photos on our website to tempt you more
.
Photos really do tell the story here and there now are hundreds on our site and this will no doubt continue to grow. A new clients sent me some super shots of their land for sale in North Caicos, Pumpkin Bluff, which sits on an elevated stretch of coastline, offering wonderful sunsets and a rugged "iron shore" coastline. It is nice to have property that is not specifically on the beach, as there is much choice here in the islands. Some lovely shots can be taken underwater with the right equipment, and I can point you to this page on our site for photos taken by Mathew Williams, of Cactus Voyager, a long term resident here who has specialized in concierge services. Diving is his passion, reflected well with the stunning photos. We have a page on our site now that helps organized your vacation here, as many purchasers have experience the lifestyle here on holiday first, before taking the plunge. You may want to check out this page as well, as it gives some holiday ideas.

Still on the water theme, we still have a great building opportunity for someone who wants to live for free whilst building their new dream house. This property is a good sized plot, with a moored boat. The owner lives on the WestCoast of USA, and does not get here all that often and is now keen to sell. Much core infrastructure work has been undertaken, water, electrics and sewer system in place. Planning permission has already been granted for the "coach house", which is the first phase of the build, and the second main home would be built on the elevated portion of the land. A nice opportunity for those that want to build. We have a lot of visitors who come from the West Coast.
All's well here in Turks and Caicos and the Anchor Team is here to help you find that dream. Despite the doom and gloom in the news, some lucky people are seeking ways of investing overseas and find that Turks and Caicos has all that they need. We have great air communications with the US and Europe, excellent IT connections and of course a climate that is very appealing. Come on down and check us out.

AND
just come in, is the lovely 1st floor unit at the stunning GRACE BAY CLUB.... This unit has never been rented and is lavishly furnished to a very high standard. This unit has an adjacent 1 bed unit, which is in the very good Grace Bay Management programme that generates an income stream for the owners. See this link on our site for photos. It has been reduced from $1.8m to $1.4m for a quick sale. Unfortunately, the stamp duty here, which has been 6% for the last three months, will now be 9,75% as of April 1st - we have not heard that the discount is to be extended. Just look at the outlook that this lovely unit has!
